Evolution Aqua is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of its new pressure filter, K+ Advanced Filter. This new pressure filter features Evolution Aqua’s latest innovation in pond filtration technology and will be available to buy from mid-July at your nearest Koi dealer. 

So what is K+ Advanced Filter all about? 

Manufactured in the UK by Evolution Aqua the new K+Advanced Filter is rotationally moulded from robust material and has been through rigorous testing for total reliability and peace of mind. The filter is supplied with the new K+ Media to provide enhanced biological and mechanical filtration, deliver exceptional water clarity and to be economical to run. 

We are family: 

The filter has been designed to provide the same attractive granite finish as the other filters in the Evolution Aqua family: Nexus, EazyPod and Cetus Sieve. 

Advanced filtration media: 

The filter is supplied with K+ Media inside. K+ Media provides improved mechanical and biological filtration is achieved, thanks to Evolution Aqua’s K+Media. The benefits of using K+Media have been well documented since its launch in 2019, including its ability to filter particles down to one micron. The design and profile of the media helps to improve flow, its vast protected surface area of 1,350m2 per m3 maintains stable bio-films and its unique manufacturing process where minerals and enzymes are added during the extrusion process, ensure K+Media matures faster than any other type of filter media. Evolution Aqua’s filter media has also been independently tested to verify its performance by IFTS and Cranfield University. 

The range: 

There are four sizes in the range, 20”, 24”, 30” and 36” covering all sizes of ponds up to 91,000 litres (20,000 Gallons). There will also be a 48” K+Advanced Filter added to the range later in the year designed for use on larger, commercial applications. 

Easy as 1-2-3: 

It is simple to install and can be used as a standalone filter or as part of a larger filtration system with a Nexus+ or on a skimmer line. The K+Advanced Filters are incredibly easy to clean and are supplied with K+Media, pipework, air blower and a multi-port valve.

Availability: 

• The K+ Advanced Pressure Filter 20” and 24” models will be available from Mid-July 2021 at your nearest Evolution Aqua pond dealer. 

• The 30”, 36” and 48” variants will be available later in the year from mid-October 2021 to complete the range.
