For a 20,000 and 30,000 Varipump you will need to connect a 2” single union, threaded female to plain female Ea code: K82-76-66. You will then need a Plain Reducing Bush-2" to 1.5" Ea Code: R81-063
Should I store my varipump in winter?
If there is a chance that the water will freeze over and restrict the flow, then you should take it out of the pond and dry it out. Store it over winter in a dry place, then reconnect the pump again in spring.
Where do I place the airpump?
If the pump is situated below the water level, it must have a non-return valve fitted to stop water siphoning back into the pump if there is a power cut.
The air output has dropped on my airpump, why?
The diaphragm may need replacing, we recommended these are replaced annually. View diaphragm kits
Can the airpumps be used outside?
The airpumps are weather proof and can be used outside, they are not waterproof so do not situate in a position where they are likely to be flooded
I have replaced the diaphragm kit but my Airpump still does not work?
All the parts in the air pump can be replaced, if you have replaced the diaphragm kit and you pump still does not work it may be the electro-magnet. View electro-magnets
My airpump is running but no air is coming out?
The airpump is mounted to the base on rubber grommets, it is possible one of these has come out. Please refer to the manual and check the exploded diagram on page eleven, you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers to repair.

How should a Detox Dechlorinator be installed?
The ideal is to install it vertically. This way it ensures that all water is evenly distributed. The units can be installed horizontally, but vertical mounting is best.
Are Detox Dechlorinators ice proof?
No, Detox should not be left outside in winter with water in it. It is likely to crack. Instead, drain the unit and store vertically in an ice free environment.
Should the Detox Dechlorinator be flushed before use?
Yes, run the unit until the water is clear and free of dust and carbon particles.
What flow rate should the Detox Dechlorinator be at?
The ideal is four litres per minute or less. Use a measuring jug, and make sure that it takes over 15 seconds to fill one litre. Any more and it is too much.
Can I install a tap / valve after the Dechlorinator or throttle it back, downstream of the unit?
No, installing a tap after the unit is the number one cause of leaks and damaged units. Detox is tested to withstand average mains water pressure, but if a tap / ball valve is installed after the unit, pressure can build inside the unit.
