What is PURE Aquarium Water Safe?

PURE Aquarium Water Safe is a specially formulated treatment for aquariums of all sizes

Once added to your aquarium, the bacteria, enzymes and natural compounds inside each ball will rapidly neutralise the chlorine and chloramine in your aquarium's water.

The protection continues through the month allowing multiple water changes without the need to add additional balls.

Regular use of PURE Aquarium products will ensure that your fish live in a safe, healthy and crystal clear environment.

How To Use PURE Aquarium Water Safe?

Simply add the balls directly into your aquarium

• Add PURE Aquarium Water Safe into your aquarium to neutralise the chlorine and chloramine when introducing new tap water in your aquarium.

• Start using PURE Aquarium Water Safe when setting up a new aquarium. Add 1 ball per 50 litres of tank volume.

• For ongoing protection add 1 ball per 50 litres of tank volume per month.*

• To be effective a new dose should be added every four weeks.

• PURE Aquarium Water Safe can be used in conjunction with other PURE products in the family.

*Based on 10% weekly water change. 1 ball will treat 50 litres of water.

• PURE Aquarium Water Safe can act differently dependent on water conditions in each tank. This means that variations in appearance are normal and the rate of change can vary.

• Each PURE Aquarium Water Safe ball is manufactured from a natural polymer and is biodegradable.

• Wash hands after use.

• Once opened, store with lid tightly closed in a cool dark place.

Can I overdose PURE Aquarium?

No, but it does contain aerobic (oxygen demanding,) bacteria, so strong surface agitation and/or aeration from an airpump and airstone is encouraged.

Is there any PURE Aquarium left over when I use it?

Yes, Pure Aquarium balls shrink down over time leaving a small 5mm bead. This can be left in the filter with other filter media, or removed and discarded.

Can my fish eat it PURE Aquarium?

Yes it is possible for a large fish to eat Pure. It is only gel and friendly bacteria, but it should be discouraged. For any fish that is large enough to ingest Pure Aquarium, either in its hydrated or shrunken form, place it into the filter and contain it.
