PURE+ Aquarium Filter Start Gel is a live bacteria gel to start new aquarium filters allowing faster introduction of fish in your aquarium.

The active gel formulation will stick to the filter media, allowing the nitrifying bacteria it contains to rapidly colonise your filter. It is impossible to create a pond or a crystal-clear koi pond without getting a form of algae or blanketweed. 

Algae are very primitive plants without roots and the first group are the single-cell algae like micro algae that we cannot see with the naked eye to macro algae that create the green soup in our pond. The second group is where single cell joins end to end that create long filamentous green algae that we call blanketweed.
